SONY BMG MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT has set up space on The Electric Sheep Company’s Media Island in Second Life, a 3-D interactive world entirely built and owned by its residents and is inhabited by over 5 million people from across the globe. Sony BMG’s space features a gorgeous club and loft, a shop that contains Sony BMG merchandise including lounges featuring images, information, and streaming audio and video content for some of Sony BMG’s hottest acts! Anyone can create a free basic membership at www.secondlife.com/join and check it out.

Head over to Artist Lounge South and enter our featured Artist rooms. Sample tracks from popular Sony BMG artists such as Audioslave, Ben Folds, Christina Aguilera, and Cheyenne Kimball. Read up on their bios or just sit back, relax and enjoy their latest music video.
The Shop
The Shop provides music fans a place to spend their hard earned Linden Dollars. Outfit your avatar with new gear, purchase posters for your house or buy tracks from your favorite artists.
Artist Lounge East
Artist Lounge East offers sample music and videos from Sony BMG’s hip-hop and R&B artists. Listen to music from artists such as Justin Timberlake, Outkast, Bow Wow and DMX.
Legacy Lounge
The Legacy Artist Lounge allows players to view hundreds of images of classic artists.
The Club

Paula DeAnda Heats Up Second Life With Virtual Concert On May 22 Paula DeAnda performed live in Second Life! "The event was amazing! I’m online constantly, but I’ve never connected with my fans like this. I can’t wait for the next one,” said Paula.
Ben Fold Rocks Second Life On October 16, 2006 Ben Folds had his first Second Life gig, doing a live chat from the studio and giving out tasters from the new album. At one point Ben took off his shirt and challenged other to a lightsaber fight, a Second Life first for a performing artist!
