Destiny's Child Gets Their Groove On!
November 30, 2006
Best known for producing the Final Fantasy series, Square Enix is one of the world’s most respected developers. Since their claim to fame are intricate games that involving wizards summoning huge beasts and warriors sporting oversized swords, fans are invariably surprised to find out that Square Enix’s best mobile game has nothing to do with exploring strange, new worlds. It’s all about dancing!
Destiny’s Child Groove is not only the first mobile game to feature the music of Grammy Award-winning group, but also Square Enix’s first foray into creating a rhythm and dance game – and the results couldn’t be more entertaining. While listening to one of the groups four biggest hits (Survivor, Bug A Boo, Say My Name, or Lose My Breath), players time button presses to have their on screen character compete in a dance battle.
The game is a blast to play, starting off easy and gradually getting more challenging the further into the competition you get. By the end, you’ll not only be impressed with the moves your dancer is pulling off, but also the moves your thumbs are managing!
If you’re in the mood to listen to some great music and play a fantastic game at the same time, then Destiny’s Child Groove is for you.
