GEOMETRY WARS: RETRO EVOLVED MOBILE Exclusively Available On Verizon Wireless Phones

Verizon Wireless, the leading wireless company with the most reliable wireless voice and data network, and SONY BMG MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT, today announced the exclusive release of Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved Mobile on select Verizon Wireless Get It Now®-capable phones. Developed in conjunction with Bizarre Creations, the game is faithful to the console original while taking advantage of the on-the-go nature of mobile phones, making Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved Mobile a highly-addictive small screen masterpiece.

The controls utilize four- or eight-way buttons, as well as the keypad for easy maneuverability, so players can fight off an onslaught of enemies with precision. Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved Mobile includes eight brand new gameplay modes, including Untouchable, Survivor, Monster, Trenches, Speed, Multiplier, Feline, and Bomber.  Players can see how they stack up against other fans via a leaderboard.

Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved Mobile is available on more than 25 popular Get It Now-capable phones from Verizon Wireless, including the enV by LG, MOTOKRZR K1m and Samsung SCH-a950.  Download charges for Get It Now applications vary and airtime charges apply when browsing, downloading and using certain applications. Customers need a Get It Now-enabled phone and Verizon Wireless digital service to access the Get It Now virtual store.

Konami and Sony BMG Announce Distribution Agreement

Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. today announced an agreement with SONY BMG MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT to digitally distribute Konami's library of songs from its diversified catalog of video games. Under the agreement, Konami's music will be available for download from major online retailers such as iTunes and Rhapsody as well as a number of mobile service providers.

"Music has been at the foundation of Konami's games for decades, and now consumers will be able to enjoy these classic tunes on their own," said Michael Rajna, Music Manager at Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. "SONY BMG MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT's strong digital distribution network allows us to reach the widest possible audience and bring Konami's library of industry-defining music to users on PCs and mobile devices."

For the first time in Konami's history, consumers will have access to original music from celebrated franchises such as Castlevania, Silent Hill, Dance Dance Revolution and Elebits, as well as classic arcade hits such as Gradius and Contra. In addition to major web-based retailers, the music will also be available through major mobile carriers as well as Konami's official web site, www.konami.com.

Paula Deanda To Perform Worldwide Live Concert Event In Virtual 3-D Universe Second Life May 21st.

Paula DeAnda, a 17 year old musical artist whose ubiquitous debut single "Doing Too Much" and recent hit "Walk Away" introduced the world to her musical talent, will be performing a live concert in the Second Life online world on May 21st. An avatar or "animated character" is currently being designed in Paula's likeness for the event where Paula will perform a live set of her chart-topping hits to a virtual audience and chat with fans at 8 pm EST. Second Life is a 3-D interactive world entirely built and owned by its residents and is inhabited by over 5 million people from across the globe. Anyone can create a free basic membership at www.secondlife.com and attend the show.

Mo-PetsTM will host cat, dog, ferret and monkey talent shows on US phones

Mo Pets Floodgate Entertainment today announced a worldwide co-publishing agreement through which SONY BMG MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT will work with wireless carriers around the globe to distribute Mo-PetsTM to mobile devices. Additional terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

"We've had a great time creating Mo-PetsTM" said Paul Neurath, Creative Director of Floodgate Entertainment. "We weren't sure if we could make a game where the player would fall in love with a virtual ferret. I actually think we pulled it off."

Your World Games Announces Co-Publishing Deal With SONY BMG Music Entertainment For Groundbreaking Wireless Videogame 'The Shroud'

The ShroudYour World Games today announced a worldwide co-publishing agreement through which SONY BMG MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT will work with wireless carriers around the globe to distribute "The Shroud" to mobile devices. Additional terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Quickly they'll be thrust into the position of an unlikely hero, protecting their local town from mysterious forces, completing side quests, mining, fishing, and battling evil.
