Geometry Wars Retro Evolved Blasting Onto Mobile
The most popular game ever released on Xbox Live is coming out soon for download onto your mobile phone - and not a shred of the intensity has been spared in translation. Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved Mobile is a translation so faithful, it practically boggles the mind as to how all the action can fit into a phone without it melting.
For those not in the know, Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved was one of the first titles made available for download to Microsoft's then-new Xbox 360. Its frantic and addictive gameplay made it an instant hit, and even today it's popularity hasn't diminished one iota. The only way to improve the experience would be to play it on the go, and that's exactly what you can do now.
As a constantly-blasting ship that starts in the middle of the screen, your goal is simple - stay alive! However, the hordes of enemies that appear in wave after wave aren't going to make things easy for you. In classic old-school arcade style, things get progressively more hectic the longer you play. After a few minutes, the action gets so crazy you feel as if you're playing on instinct alone.
Other than having a delicate heart condition, there's really no good reason not to download Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved Mobile. It's easily the most intense fun you can have on your phone.
